Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year strategic roadmaps for technological adoption and market disruption
- Analyze emerging trends across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future projections into actionable business strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Oversee cross-functional innovation labs focused on 2026+ technological horizons
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory developments affecting future landscapes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or equivalent field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or white papers
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario modeling, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Experience advising Fortune 500 or global policy organizations on future strategy
