Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends, market shifts, and global megatrends to develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to anticipate future industry disruptions and competitive landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to integrate future insights into development pipelines
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Present visionary recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation strategy team
- Monitor KPIs for innovation adoption and ROI
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with measurable market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to inspire stakeholders across all levels
- Deep knowledge of AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainability tech trends
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CPSI) or foresight methodologies
