Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for enterprise clients using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to accelerate commercialization of emerging technologies
- Curate and maintain Horizon's proprietary FutureTech database with 50+ emerging technology signals
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and strategic communication
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote presentations at global tech forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation consulting or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leader in futurism or technology innovation (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Proficiency in AI trend-analysis tools and futures research platforms
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful 5-year technology commercialization projects
