Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (2026 horizon)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies in AI, biotech, and space
- Quantify market readiness and ROI for experimental technologies
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Author thought leadership on future technology adoption curves
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
