Responsibilities

- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven project prioritization
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global tech consortiums
- Mentor 15+ engineers and product managers in future-tech methodologies
- Produce annual 'State of 2026 Tech' industry report
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar tier
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, and global research institutions
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (APF or similar)
