Responsibilities
- Safely walk 2-4 dogs simultaneously in designated Sacramento neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents via our app
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, leash handling)
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each dog's routine
- Adapt walks to individual dog needs (energy levels, size, temperament)
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all outings
- Build trust-based relationships with clients and their pets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Background check and pet first certification preferred
- Local Sacramento residency required
