Responsibilities
- Provide daily dog walking services for 3-6 dogs per group in designated Kansas City neighborhoods
- Administer medication, feed pets, and monitor health during walks
- Maintain detailed digital logs of each dog's behavior, activity, and special needs
- Transport pets to vet appointments, grooming, or daycare as required
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via our mobile app and text updates
- Ensure all safety protocols (leashes, ID tags, emergency contacts) are strictly followed
- Attend monthly training sessions on animal behavior and first aid
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, snow)
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability on weekends and holidays required
