Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly upon entering the store, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, exchanges, and gift cards.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering questions regarding pricing and availability.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any stock discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive store performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Previous experience in retail or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
