Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners to move inventory.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Efficiently process inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate counts and damage-free handling.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Organization: Keep workstations and aisles organized, clean, and free of hazards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
