Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise in and out of the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Packaging: Prepare packages for shipment using appropriate materials and labeling systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace to optimize efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional evenings.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documents.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
