Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and discrepancies.
- Organization: Maintain organized storage areas and ensure products are properly labeled and rotated.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Data Entry: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and update logs accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required if you are willing to learn.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read and understand safety instructions.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
