Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock and merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with precision and speed.
- Shipment Handling: Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and ensure proper organization in the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to ensure daily operational goals are met.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a climate-controlled facility.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) consistently.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred for warehouse duties.
