Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate cycle counts and stock checks to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with a focus on speed and precision.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve logistical challenges.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with reliable transportation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a climate-controlled environment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) strictly.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
