Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Organize and restock merchandise displays to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-maintained at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock discrepancies or shortages to the store manager promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to execute promotional events and achieve daily sales targets.
- Answer phone inquiries and handle customer complaints or feedback with patience and efficiency.
- Keep the sales floor clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a part-time basis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to operate POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
