Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional welcome and manage reservations efficiently.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about ingredients and preparation.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system and relay them to the kitchen promptly.
- Deliver orders to tables with precision and ensure all items are presented beautifully.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions, process payments, and manage cash drawers accurately.
- Upsell appetizers, desserts, and signature cocktails to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a pristine dining environment, including resetting tables and cleaning service stations.
Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler's Card or equivalent certification (required).
- Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (Weekend Shifts).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Knowledge of local New Orleans dining culture and cocktail knowledge is a plus.
