Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Restock merchandise on shelves and display areas to ensure product availability and visual appeal.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages or needs to the management team.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain store standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Assist in organizing the sales floor and stockroom to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise (up to 25 lbs).
- Reliable transportation is required.
