Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with a smile.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Keep the sales floor organized, stocked, and visually appealing at all times.
- Assist in inventory management and stockroom organization.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Resolve customer inquiries and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (2+ hours).
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Reliable transportation is required.
