Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Assist customers in finding products and provide detailed product information.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in processing stock transfers as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store goals and sales targets are met during busy weekends.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Reliable transportation is recommended for commuting in NYC.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
