Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection and inquiries.
- Restock merchandise on shelves and displays to ensure the store is fully stocked and visually appealing.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process sales and returns.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict adherence to security and accuracy protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including cleaning registers and restrooms.
- Assist in inventory management and stockroom organization during off-peak hours.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and/or weekday evenings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory counting.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Previous retail experience is a plus but not required.
