Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal staff and external clients via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including printers, networks, and operating systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all support tickets and incidents in the ticketing system.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security audits during off-peak hours.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software for weekend projects.
- Collaborate with the on-call support team to escalate complex issues effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST.
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup (if remote).
