The Role
In this dynamic position, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store operates smoothly during peak weekend traffic. You will work closely with our management team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Stock merchandise and organize shelves to ensure a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card payments with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and reporting discrepancies to management.
- Keep the sales floor clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout your shift.
- Collaborate with team members to execute visual merchandising displays.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are mandatory.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
