Responsibilities
- Set up and break down event venues including tents, stages, and seating areas
- Manage guest registration and check-in processes at corporate conferences
- Provide exceptional customer service at VIP receptions and charity galas
- Assist with audio-visual equipment coordination and troubleshooting
- Uphold strict security protocols for government and private sector events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution
- Document event activities and submit post-shift reports
Qualifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible start times
- Valid government-issued photo ID and ability to pass background screening
- Previous event hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Physical ability to stand for 6+ hours and lift up to 30 pounds
- Professional appearance with black slacks and provided polo shirt
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Reliable transportation to event locations across DC metro area
