Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trailers and trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks provided by the company.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, verifying, and stocking inventory with high accuracy to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick orders and prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on provided equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse aisles clear and organized to ensure efficient workflow and reduce hazards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is a plus.
