Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using provided forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Inventory Management: Sort, organize, and stock incoming merchandise while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and warehouse protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report any issues with warehouse machinery or equipment to the supervisor.
- Housekeeping: Keep warehouse aisles, floors, and storage areas clean and organized at all times.
- WMS Operation: Utilize warehouse management systems to track stock levels and process shipments.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- License: Forklift certification is a major plus but we provide training.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Attitude: Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and time management.
