Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise: Safely handle products using provided equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and manual labor techniques.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage items for shipment using handheld scanners.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery safely, adhering to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor organized, free of hazards, and compliant with sanitation standards.
- Shift Support: Assist in organizing storage areas and moving pallets to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Equipment Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus (training provided if needed).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Safety Conscious: Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and follow all safety rules.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Basic ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with team supervisors.
