What You'll Do
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your day will involve operating material handling equipment, fulfilling orders, and maintaining a safe workspace.
Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy and speed.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Properly label, tag, and document all packages and inventory movements.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners or RF guns.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and excellent time management skills.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
