Responsibilities
- Operational Execution: Efficiently process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in all inventory counts and labeling.
- Equipment Usage: Safely operate provided warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld scanners to maximize workflow efficiency.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols, including proper lifting techniques and hazard reporting.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various terrains within the warehouse.
- Equipment Provided: Must be willing to utilize company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is a plus.
