Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring cargo safety during transit.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock checks in designated zones.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) with flexibility for overtime.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
