Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and technical assistance to customers via phone, email, and chat regarding software and hardware issues.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and uptime to ensure seamless service delivery during evening and weekend shifts.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Documentation: Accurately log technical issues, resolutions, and customer interactions into our CRM database.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the on-site team to resolve complex escalations and improve operational workflows.
- Shift Compliance: Adhere strictly to the scheduled evening and weekend shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, technical support, or IT help desk roles is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Schedule: Must be available to work evening shifts (e.g., 4 PM - 10 PM) and weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
