Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Goods: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to handle freight during the evening shift.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts and manage inventory records using our warehouse management system.
- Packaging & Shipping: Inspect, package, and prepare items for shipment with high attention to detail.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and minor maintenance checks on warehouse machinery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED certification required.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work evenings (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and weekends.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation and a good attendance record.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners or computer terminals.
