Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to all customers, answering questions and assisting with product selection in a professional manner.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including stocking shelves and organizing displays.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately at the register, ensuring proper change and handling payment methods securely.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory counts and stockroom organization during off-peak hours.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Assist in opening or closing the store, including setting up signage, securing the premises, and balancing cash drawers.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure store goals are met and assist with special projects or events.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (3:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and weekends.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; current students are highly encouraged to apply.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Basic Math: Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes up to 25lbs, and navigate the sales floor.
