Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper handling techniques
- Provide timely feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and update owners via app
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming sessions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Perform light home care tasks (water plants, bring in mail) during visits
- Respond promptly to client requests and schedule changes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking/pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation with pet-safe equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Passion for animal welfare with patience for diverse temperaments
- Background check clearance required
