Responsibilities
- Take dogs on safe, enjoyable, and timely walks according to the client's schedule.
- Ensure dogs are properly exercised and socialized in appropriate environments.
- Feed pets and administer medication (training provided) if required by the owner.
- Clean up waste immediately and thoroughly to maintain hygiene and safety.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report to pet parents immediately.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating updates and photos to owners.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and local leash laws.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Previous pet care experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- A genuine love for animals and a patient, calm demeanor.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to arrive on time for every shift.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat).
