Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in assigned Raleigh neighborhoods while maintaining control and following leash protocols
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as specified by pet owners
- Monitor pets' behavior and health, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed logs of walks, pet interactions, and service delivery
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding schedules and updates
- Adhere to safety protocols during all outdoor activities in varying weather conditions
- Build trustful relationships with pets and their owners through consistent care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, breeds, and handling techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk for extended periods outdoors
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred (training provided if needed)
