Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in various Omaha neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as needed
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks
- Maintain detailed care logs for each client
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app/phone
- Ensure all pets are secure with proper leashes/harnesses
- Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Strong physical ability to handle large/excited dogs
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Passion for animal welfare and safety
- Availability mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Background check required
