Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes through Mesa neighborhoods
- Provide personalized care based on each pet's temperament and needs
- Maintain detailed logs of walks, observations, and owner instructions
- Ensure pets' safety during walks in all weather conditions
- Administer basic care (water, treats, potty breaks) as requested
- Build trust with pets and maintain professional communication with owners
- Uphold strict cleanliness standards during walks and transport
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license and insured vehicle
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds and walk 3+ hours daily
- Current pet CPR/first aid certification preferred
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
