Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups while maintaining control and positive reinforcement
- Provide companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation during outings
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns to owners promptly
- Clean up after pets and maintain clean walking equipment
- Adhere to strict scheduling and client communication protocols
- Transport pets via personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle
- Strong knowledge of canine behavior and handling techniques
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills
