Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in residential and public areas while maintaining control and positive handling
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed client records and schedule updates via our mobile app
- Transport pets to/from appointments using company vehicles
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all interactions and outings
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about pets' well-being and behavior
- Attend regular training sessions to refine handling techniques
- Uphold company standards of professionalism and cleanliness
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of professional pet care experience OR equivalent personal experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to job locations
- Physical ability to walk dogs up to 50 lbs in various weather conditions
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and punctuality
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
