Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential and urban areas
- Provide timely feeding, medication administration, and playtimeMaintain detailed pet care logs and owner communications
- Ensure all pets are secure with proper harnesses/leashes
- Report any pet health or behavioral concerns promptly
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all outings
- Build trust with pets and owners through consistent care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record (if transporting pets)
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs comfortably
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to Detroit neighborhoods
