Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable dog walking services for 1-5 dogs at a time
- Administer medications and special care instructions as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, walks, and care provided
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/photo updates
- Ensure all pets are securely leashed and supervised during walks
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments when required
- Uphold exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Availability for weekday mornings/evenings and weekends
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to ethical practices
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
