Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, tea, and food items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment efficiently to ensure high-volume orders are met during peak hours.
- Greet customers with a warm, friendly demeanor and provide excellent customer service to ensure repeat business.
- Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash drawers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in stocking inventory and rotating products to ensure freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
- Strong passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods and flavors.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, upbeat attitude.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
