As a Weekend IT Support Associate, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring our systems run smoothly over the weekends. This is an excellent opportunity for students or professionals seeking supplemental income without sacrificing their weekday availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and resolve incoming help desk tickets efficiently on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of computer workstations and peripherals.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure system uptime and security protocols are maintained.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system (Zendesk/ServiceNow).
- Troubleshoot printer connectivity and peripheral device malfunctions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Previous experience in IT support or a similar technical role is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and common office applications (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
