Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to customers, answering inquiries and resolving issues efficiently during peak hours.
- Shift Management: Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring all security and safety protocols are followed.
- Sales Support: Drive sales goals by promoting products and services, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and perform regular inventory checks to ensure product availability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow and positive team atmosphere.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash, credit, and digital payments with precision.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all customers and staff.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (e.g., 4 PM - 10 PM) and weekends (Saturdays & Sundays).
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability is essential.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately while maintaining high energy levels.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable handling cash transactions and calculating change quickly and accurately.
