Responsibilities
- Package Handling: Sort, scan, and process incoming and outgoing packages efficiently during evening shifts.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts and update inventory systems using handheld scanners.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure they meet company standards before dispatch.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the morning shift team to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Customer Support: Assist with basic customer inquiries regarding order status and location.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and weekends.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but training is provided for dedicated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and work ethic.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Legal Status: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
