Responsibilities
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and assist with product selection to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) Systems: Process transactions accurately, handle cash and card payments, and manage returns efficiently.
- Maintain Store Standards: Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked to meet company visual merchandising standards.
- Assist with Inventory: Help with stock replenishment, inventory counts, and organizing stockrooms during slower periods.
- Handle Cash Handling: Ensure all cash drawers are balanced at the end of the shift and adhere to all security and cash-handling policies.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless workflow during busy evening shifts.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to follow instructions carefully.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for cash handling and transactions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes (up to 25 lbs), and move around the store.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
