Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Houston neighborhoods and parks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners during walks
- Administer basic care (fresh water, waste cleanup, leash management)
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication records
- Adapt walking routes based on weather, pet needs, and client preferences
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet behavior and safety protocols
- Uphold strict punctuality and reliability for scheduled appointments
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with reliable transportation and smartphone
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if transporting pets)
- Passion for animal welfare and basic pet care knowledge
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple dogs simultaneously (up to 4) safely
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Comfortable working outdoors in Houston's climate year-round
- Willingness to obtain pet first aid certification (provided)
