Responsibilities
- Provide daily dog walking services to ensure pets receive proper exercise and mental stimulation
- Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to owners promptly
- Maintain detailed service logs and client communication through our mobile app
- Safely handle pets during walks, including leash control and traffic awareness
- Administer basic care like feeding, fresh water, and waste cleanup as requested
- Build trust with pets through consistent, compassionate interaction
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional pet care experience (dog walking, vet tech, kennel work)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to walk dogs of various sizes and breeds (up to 80 lbs)
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and updates
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to handle outdoor activities in Texas weather
- Clean background check and positive references
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets preferred
