Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise 2-4 dogs per group using positive reinforcement techniques
- Administer medications and monitor pet health during walks
- Provide detailed digital reports on pet behavior and activities
- Maintain clean equipment and sanitized walking areas
- Build client relationships through exceptional communication
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage rotations
- Complete pet first aid and emergency response training
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- Professional pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to walk dogs up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Corpus Christi neighborhoods and parks
