Responsibilities
- Manage high-value perishable inventory in climate-controlled facilities
- Operate electric pallet jacks and reach trucks with precision
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation systems for 99.9% accuracy
- Conduct daily quality audits and temperature compliance checks
- Train junior staff on OSHA safety protocols
- Optimize warehouse layouts for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse experience in temperature-controlled environments
- OSHA Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficient in WMS inventory management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in 30°F conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid Alaska driver's license preferred
