Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks with precision in refrigerated environments
- Manage inventory using advanced WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-docking operations for time-sensitive shipments
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety protocols in all procedures
- Train junior staff on warehouse operations and equipment safety
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize space efficiency
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse experience in cold storage environments
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Strong problem-solving skills for logistical challenges
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
